​My work feeds my soul, how and why I work is so much more than a job, it's something I love to do, it's part of who I am and I imagine doing forever. Documenting my children and photographing your family, brings me such joy and gives me meaning in my day to day world.

Life is passing so fast, I capture daily moments as a time capsule to remember our life and their changing faces. Our babies grow up so fast, their teeth pop up, fall out, expressions change and our babies turn into children, and children into tweens. The years are whizzing by faster than ever and I want to capture it all in my time capsule..!!

I remember holding my first picture, I fell in love with capturing something that would last and I could hold onto. I've been photographing children for over fifteen years, from starting out in my childhood garden with an old camera and family faces, to working in chaotic studios and obsessively chasing perfection, to finally finding what I truly love, and that is natural light, a connection to nature and capturing the essence of childhood and our relationships.

 

My love of photography comes from an obsession for capturing these fleeting moments, expressions and emotions that we see on their faces, and being able to hold onto these images forever. Keeping all this in a picture is still magical to me, and my children. They already love looking back through photographs of their childhood.

I started working for myself because I didn't want to follow any rules or restrictions. I wanted to guide myself towards everything I love and how I feel family photography should be, which is natural, playful and REAL..!!

I used to work for large companies that limited the time I could spend with each client, and edits had to be turned over instantly. These limitations took away the creative process for me, so now my work is aligned with my love of people, photography, and creating the best possible memories of you and your family. Without any restrictions.

 

I love candid photographs that reflect my children’s personality and our relationship, when photographs capture this.. I am buzzing..!! Capturing these moments is also what happens in my sessions with you, I strive to get something that is so very personal about your child and your relationship with one another.
